This film is an tribute to Jules Verne, the great universal writer, but also one to the people of today who love adventure, taking risks and dreaming. Through a personal and intimate approach, each of the contemporary explorers met lead us to one of the Extraordinary Journeys of Jules Verne, in a surprising agreement with the mind of the writer. The director faces us with the spirit of adventure, through the eyes of a narrator torn between the enthusiasms of his youth for Jules Verne, and the outlook of an adult. Patricio Guzmán takes us on a trip from Chile to Paris, from Africa to Antarctica.
